Your plan, trial and usage

Every office works on a plan. A new office starts with a 30-day trial in which every module is open, with a few limits (for example, how many active clients and how many WhatsApp messages a day).

Owners and admins open Settings and click Plan and usage. The page shows:

  • Plan and its status: Trial, Active, Free or Ended, with the date it ends.

  • Included modules: each module is marked Included or Not included.

  • Limits: the most you can have at once, such as active clients. Unlimited means there is no limit. Trial limit marks a limit that applies only during the trial.

  • Usage: how much you used today or this month, out of the limit, with a bar that turns amber near the limit and red when it is reached. When clients wait for a SmartBill account because the limit for new accounts was reached, a line under it says how many; their accounts open by themselves when the limit allows.

  • Paying for clients’ SmartBill: who pays for a new client’s SmartBill account (The client pays, after a free trial or Your office pays), with a link to Settings, SmartBill, where you choose it with the clients’ other SmartBill settings (Your clients’ SmartBill). Below are Your office’s allowance, with the seats in use and until when it is valid, and the clients your office pays for now. When your office pays by default and no seat was free, the page says how many clients started on a free trial.

Members who are not admins see a note that only owners and admins can see the plan.

During the trial a strip above every page says how many days are left and the date the trial ends. Owners and admins can click Plan and usage in the strip to open the page.

The office becomes read-only. A strip above every page says so. You can still:

  • open every client and page;
  • view and export your work.

You cannot make changes, send messages, read documents automatically, or open SmartBill accounts for clients. Trying shows a message that the office is read-only. To continue working, contact SmartBill.

Its entry in the menu shows a lock. Hover over the lock to see why. The page itself explains that the module is not part of your plan. To add it, contact SmartBill.
