Link to section: Upload documents- Open the intended client or choose the client in the upload flow.
- Choose Upload files or drag files into the upload area.
- Wait for uploading and processing to finish.
- Check each file’s status. Needs review means there is still something to check.
Keep documents in context
Link to section: Keep documents in contextReview the client’s name and any links before attaching a file to a task, expense, or collection request. Uploading a file alone does not necessarily complete the related work.
Office files
Link to section: Office filesFiles attached to a general task, one that is not for a particular client, are kept in the Office files. To see them, open Files, open the client filter and choose Office files. Their client column says Office files. Everyone in the office sees them, and they are not shared with clients. Attach files to a task.
An upload fails
Link to section: An upload failsRead the message next to that file. Check the allowed file type and size, then retry only the failed item. A file that is still processing may not be ready to preview yet.
